In 2005 Nicolas Tallarico, a gifted chef, left Argentina, moved to Toronto, armed with his mother’s recipes and a dream – to bring empanada excellence to Canada.
The House of Empanadas was born and destined for artisan and taste greatness. 

Toronto Beginnings

The House started selling empanadas to a vendor at the Brickworks Market every Saturday, and then opened a booth in the Distillery District Sunday Market.  Inspired by the warm Toronto embrace, The House, started creating new and exciting combinations, with an emphasis on savoury and beautiful Argentinean /Canadian flavours.
